Absolutely Terrible. Avoid at all costs. We booked through SIXT and then wanted to update the return time by a few hours. They downgraded our car from a SUV to an economy and charged us for a full day more. When I went to cancel, several weeks in advance, they charged be $100, just to cancel! It's almost a given that rental car reservations are refundable all the way up to the time of rental, and especially several weeks in advance. Not here. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM. You'll regret it.

I thought the location was fine if you were staying in Caen but many people arrive via the ferry port and to have a collection desk there would be extremely useful especially if we arrive late at night. The car is ordered, for some reason was not available so the operative tried to sell me an upgrade which I refused. He gave me the upgraded car for the original price. He also tried to sell me more insurance. Everything else was good.
